How to Use: Tips and Tricks
The easyLIGHT is suitable for all smooth surfaces. First you must loosen the dirt by using warm water and lots of dishwashing soap. Once washed, dry the surface using the easyLIGHT.
1. Prepare the Pre-Washer
Wash the pre-washer before the first use to activate the fibre. To prepare the pre-washer, apply dishwashing liquid directly onto the microfiber cover. Then, dip only the fiber tips into the water and gently wipe off excess at the edge of the bucket to prevent dripping. The pre-washer should be moist but not dripping wet.
2. Washing
Before using the easyLIGHT, it’s important to thoroughly clean the surface with the pre-washer to loosen the dirt. Professionals say, the dirt must swim before it can be removed. For especially dirty windows, it is recommended to first soak the surface using the pre-washer. If the desired result is not achieved, repeat the process as needed.
3. Streak Free Drying
Place the easyLIGHT at the highest possible point, apply a little pressure so that the easyLIGHT touches the glass, but the housing doesn’t. With slight pressure, pull it down horizontally and repeat the process with overlapping strokes. To correct small imperfections, dry the squeegee with a cloth and start slightly above the affected area. Alternatively, you can use the so-called double start technique (reapplying the squeegee) to avoid visible start marks. After finishing, the collected dirty water can be poured out from the left side.

How do I clean the pre-washer?
Up to 40 degrees in the washing machine or by hand. Do not use fabric softener.
What do you put in the water to clean the windows?
Dishwashing liquid is all you need, it’s best applied directly onto the pre-washer.
Can I use glass cleaner?
Yes you can, but professionals never do. Dishwashing liquid is all you need.
How do I use the pressure plates?
The pressure plates are designed to increase pressure on the left or right hand side when cleaning edges. They are also useful for cleaning high windows as they provide more stability on the blade.
Why does the small easyLIGHT (22cm) not have pressure plates?
The design of the 22cm easyLIGHT is slightly different due to its smaller size. The easyLIGHT is thicker on the left and right hand side and therefore does not require additional pressure plates.
How long does the blade last?
The product has a reversible blade. On average a two story house with regular use each side has an estimated life span of 3-5 years. Replacement blades are available.
How long does the pre washer last?
4-5 years of regular use.

Wonderful Window Cleaner
I purchased a Aqua Blade recently, and arrived yesterday. I have used it today and I thought you would like to know, that it is absolutely brilliant, it has cut down cleaning by at least halve, as we have a lot of glass area, it is a never ending job, the beauty of is no streaks, no hard rubbing or scrubbing perfect.
